It’s going to be a rainy Thursday.
Up to 30 millimetres could fall along the Atlantic coast in the afternoon into Friday morning.
It will also be windy with gusts up to 80 kilometres an hour.
A special weather statement has been issued.
Environment Canada says the frozen ground has reduced ability to absorb rainfall, and it could lead to localized flooding and water pooling on roads.
They say significant snowmelt is expected, so be sure to clear storm drains and gutters if you can.
Flooding in Port Hawkesbury, Richmond
Be careful on your drive Wednesday morning.
Water is pooling on Highway 105 from Port Hawkesbury to the Aberdeen county line because of weather and melting snow.
In Richmond County, areas of Highway 104 are also experiencing flooding, along with Trunk 19 from Port Hastings to Mabou.
The Department of Public Works asks you to drive with caution.
