RCMP officer charged with break and enter in Sydney

An RCMP officer has been charged with break and enter and mischief.

It happened in Sydney in December, in relation to incidents that involved a man known to the Constable.

She has been placed on administrative duties.

The Serious Incident Response Team says she will be in court in Sydney on February 28.

Nova Scotia commanding officer Dennis Daley says they’re taking the allegations seriously.

He adds that employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that exceeds expectations.
